The ProFeeder module can be included in all types of assembly cells; the module makes it easy and flexible to modify the setting of the assembly cell and to assemble or move engraving machines, fixtures for parts, tool flanges with turning module, deburring or cleaning, screw machines, measuring equipment, side tables or holders for control panels.
The setting of the assembly cell can be quickly changed by moving the ProFeeder module on a pallet truck and the robust rail system along the sides of the ProFeeder makes it easy to move the robotic console to a new position.
The mover with the flexible parts drawers provides a steady flow of components for the automatic assembly process and following the assembly of the parts the mover then makes it easy to remove the finished products from the assembly cell.
The assembly tables between the ProFeeder modules in a U-Cell configuration can for example consist of a perforated plate for the assembly of fixtures or screw stations. We recommend starting with a single robot and a ProFeeder, providing the basis for a staged expansion of the assembly automation.
ProFeeder consists of three basic elements.
The robot cell is the basic module of ProFeeder and provides a framework for the robot's location; it contains both the processed and unprocessed parts, either as a holder for the parts tray (ProFeeder Light) or as a station for the feeder (ProFeeder and ProFeeder Multi).
The compact and mobile robot cell is designed in such a way that it offers maximum flexibility in production and the robot can therefore be placed on all three sides. It is compact, providing easy access to the production machines.
For the ProFeeder Light and ProFeeder solution, the robot cell can be moved with a pallet truck. The robot cell is supplied with a range of solutions for control panels, tables and fixtures, which makes it suitable for the construction of complete and fully automated assembly cells.
The parts trays have interchangeable perforated plates, they can accommodate all item types and they can be replaced by thin plate feeding for edge bending.
The parts trays are easy to replace on both the basic module of ProFeeder Light and the mover.
The Mover is used to transport the parts trays to and from the ProFeeder.
It is easy to move into the robot cell even when all the four parts trays are full.
The parts trays are automatically centred in the robot cell.
When upgrading from ProFeeder to ProFeeder Multi the feeder is upgraded with an elevation and displacement module.
